Yankees vs. Red Sox - Round 3

Yesterday, (Saturday, August 19th) Lauren’s dad took us to the Yankees-Sox game at Fenway. The Yankees had just beatup on the Red Sox, taking both games of a double header on friday. With Randy Johnson and Josh Beckett pitching, it looked like the offense of both teams might slow down. However, the Yankees kept it going, taking a third straigh off the Sox, 13-5. I was very pleased at the number of Yankee fans in attendence. For a complete and unbiased account of the game, you can visit the Yankees’ website. I’ll leave the sports writing to the pros.
We had great seats in first row of the club section right above home plate. Our seats offered, in addition to waiter-service at our seats for hot dogs and beer, a great vantage point for taking photos.

Getting things started…

Derek Jeter getting ready for his first at bat.

Arod got it done yesterday, despite more boos than he gets in the Bronx.

Baby Bomber #1, Robinson Cano

The Yankee defense didn’t commit an error yesterday.

Big Papi, couldn’t win the games for his team (but he did hit a HR 1 second ago in game #4)

Baby Bomber #2 - Melky Cabrerra

The whole Yankee team was into it the whole weekend.

Randy did get into trouble but didn’t give up to much.

Posada hit a bases loaded triple (yes, Posada ran all the way to 3rd).

Thanks for the info. I wonder if anyone can give me a link to a related forum. I’m not really good in googling stuff.

Is Derek Jeter the the all time best Yankees player or do you think there is (or was) a better player?
