Unfortunately, Lyle’s (the small turtle) malaise was not merely a mild form of turtle jet-lag. He died after only living in his new tank for less than a day, most likely because he was too weak to eat. We probably will not try to replace him as we found out that pet shops cannot sell turtles less than 4 inches long and we don’t want to condemn another turtle to its death by ordering another.
